Projectdescription:

This plant is used to wash trams from GVB Amsterdam.

The wash plant washes the tram during drive-throw or with positioned tram. It is alcaline detergent used.

The washtime is appr. between 10 and 30 min depending from program and tramtype

Controlling:

To control the plant a Simatic S7 400 is used with a CPU 414-3 DP . The Sensor/Actors are controlled viaInterbus - S

A remote touch panel is used to communicate via fiber-optic and PROFIBUS-DP protocol to the CPU.

The cpu administrate up to 40 different Tram types.

Each tramtype includes its own dataset for

- Frontwashareas

- Sidewashareas

- Rearwashareas

Also the machine sequence are given by parameter declarations.
